DeCeTe is investing in the future

Over the next few months, various works will be performed at DeCeTe Duisburg which contribute to a better and faster processing of your containers. Crane 4 and the crane track and wheels will be addressed. Furthermore, the Gate Out will be relocated, the existing rail track will be extended and a new, second rail track will be constructed.

Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to perform such substantial works without causing a certain degree of inconvenience at the terminal. We will of course do everything we can to minimise this, but we do ask for your understanding in this matter.

A list of planned activities:

Modernisation crane 4 (in progress until 10 September 2017)
Crane 4 will be fitted with a new E-house; furthermore, all electrical components will be replaced. As a result, the performance of crane 4 will be greatly boosted.

Relocation and widening of Gate Out (scheduled from 4 September to 26 November 2017)
To improve the flow, the exit gate (Gate Out) will be relocated and doubled to 2 lanes.

Refurbishment crane track and crane wheels (scheduled from 16 October to 26 November 2017)
In stages, the entire crane track and all the crane wheels will be replaced, ensuring many more years of trouble-free use.

Extension of existing rail track and new rail track (scheduled from 16 October to 26 November 2017)
In order to increase capacity and thus be prepared for the growing demand for rail transport, the existing track will be extended to 675 meters and a new, second track will be constructed.
